Dry Creek Photos.....Scenes around the farm and show venues
DRY CREEK FARM Breeding Quality Miniature Zebu Cattle Since 2002
Dry Creek Farm, Home of the "Rusty Zebu"
This was taken on a rare February, indeed!
Hank enjoyed his snow day...the
heifers stayed in the barn!
Star is just a little sweetheart! She is one of our favorites.
Nova was smaller than the neighbor's duck when he was born!
Zander sucks up to Steve for treats
Ruthie, Queen of the Cows, presents her new calf.
We honed our "cow whisperer" skills on Zanzibar,
who went on to become a rodeo representative for
Booger Barter. He is a beautiful and kind bull.
Zindle is our gentlest cow, and shares her calves with humans.
This is Gunter, who was imprinted at birth, as many people do
with foals.
Here is Star as a little calf, taking her first
bath in the house! (OK....we aren't TOTALLY
crazy. She had a fungus and it was winter.)
She is RARELY invited into the house now.
Gunter and his
mom at the
Louisiana State
Fair. All my poor
cattle think
trailering around
and visiting
state fairs are
just a part of life!
Gunter likes it
because it is a
good place to
meet the ladies!
Part of the show herd at the State Fair of Texas. It is SO
exhausting to stand around and look pretty all day. Oh!
Sometimes we have to walk in a circle!!
Baby bull, Gunter, LOVED his first snow!
Bernie Keasler's entry in the costume contest at the
State Fair of Texas. I HAD to include this....it is just the
cutest zebu picture ever!
The barn cat teaches all the cattle to groom him, starting with
the calves. This red calf is Tibor, who grew into a dark grey bull!
We picked up Lily in Florida and she rode in our motor
home back to Texas. Most of the time she rode in a dog
carrier, but she DID enjoy looking out the window.
Viva takes time out from the Houston
Livestock Show to get a neck rub.
State Fair Cow Kiss Alex is sitting on the ground!
